Statement: "The drug is safe to use; the benefits far outweigh any potential risks"

It could also mean: "The benefits to stockholders far outweigh the concern we have for risking the health of consumers."

Statement: "Ask your doctor about [name of drug here]!"

It could also mean: "Put your doctor on the spot. Their ego may have them acting informed about the drugs we're selling, and if you pester them enough, chances are you'll get a prescription. Who cares what the drug is for? What matters is your right to buy it."
