Some Of My Favorite Books

For Those Who Want To Know...

It was suggested that I create a list of my favorite books. Those curious enough can now see what literary impressions have been stamped upon my brain. This is only a partial list, and the order does not denote a preference.

I must admit, I used to hate reading, thinking it a waste of time. I only started consuming books in excess at age 31, after my Kundalini experience. Since then, I've never been without a book or three in progress.

Books are an invaluable ally to me; confirming what I know or believe. They're a helpful vehicle of support. Each book offers a different window through which to view my world. My mind is now full of windows.

I especially love biographies and autobiogaphies because they let me peer into real lives to relive some incredible experiences. Books remind me that beneath out socialized exteriors we are all one but for the fact that some of us prefer to sleep in late.

Some books listed are out of print. I found them either at used book stores, garage sales, libraries, or took them from school. As for the New York Times Bestseller's List, I don't really care what's currently the "it" book. After all, the biggest sellers year after year are still cookbooks. So for those few not just looking for new ways to eat, here's my reading list.

Live generously,
Roland Kriewaldt
